There’s no need to feel isolated during a presention. Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro provides great options for attendees to interact with both the presenter and the producer/facilitator.

The Q & A Pod

The Q & A pod (1) will remain available throughout the presentation to enable attendees to ask questions or pass comments to both the presenter and the producer/facilitator.

The producer/facilitator will endeavour to answer questions relating to the functioning of Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro and pass questions for the presenter on to the presenter.

The presenter will either answer questions immediately, address them at a suitable point during the presentation or at the end of it.

Emoticon Feedback

The button on the lower left of your screen gives attendees the ability to provide additional feedback using icons or emoticons.

The first section (1) allows attendees to agree or disagree with a question posed by the presenter. In addition the first section (1) provides an important extra option called "Step Away". The Step Away function allows a participant to mark themselves as not at their machine meaning that the presenter and producer know not to expect any replies or other interaction from that participant.

The second section (2) provides six additional feedback options, as follows:

– Speak Louder
Attendees can use this option to ask the speaker to speak louder. Please be aware though that you should try adjusting your own volume level before making this request as the speaker changing their volume will affect all attendees.

– Speak Softer
Attendees can use this option to ask the speaker to speak softer. Please be aware though that you should try adjusting your own volume level before making this request as the speaker changing their volume will affect all attendees.

– Speed Up
Attendees can use this option to ask the speaker to increase the pace at which they are delivering the material.

– Slow Down
Attendees can use this option to ask the speaker to decrease the pace at which they are delivering the material.

– Laughter
Attendees can use this option to indicate they find something in the presentation humourous.

– Applause
Attendees can use this option to show their appreciation.

The third section (3) provides a single option which allows an attendee to clear a previously set status.
