Our “in person” meetings take place at The Old Pelican Inn, which is located on Manchester Road (the A56) on the Sale/Timperley border. We use a room on the first floor and unfortunately there is currently no lift or wheelchair access.

Directions

From the M60 Jn 7 (Altrincham/Stretford) – Leaving the motorway at Jn 7, you are now on the A56. Follow the signs for Sale and Altrincham. The pub is a large building, on the A56, about 3 miles from the motorway exit. It is situated on the left hand side next to a Travel Inn (Altrincham Lodge) and across the road from a park.

From Manchester – Follow the signs for the A56, Manchester United and Altrincham. Stay on the A56 through Stretford, under the motorway (M60), continue through Sale. The pub is a large building, on the A56, about 3 miles from the motorway exit. It is situated on the left hand side next to a Travel Inn (Altrincham Lodge) and across the road from a park.

From Altrincham – Coming from Altrincham on the A56, you will pass The Cresta Court Hotel on the right. Continue on the A56. You will pass South Trafford College on the left. The pub is a few hundred yards further along the A56 on your right, just past the lights.

The pub is on the main bus route between Altrincham and Manchester and is also a 10 minute walk from Timperley Metrolink station.
