Documents Extreme Makeover

Overview

“It’s all in the presentation”. How many times have you heard that said? Whether it’s your CV or a Sales Proposal, what you type in a document is just the beginning – words alone won’t always get your message across.

  • Is the document easy to read?
  • How do I make important points stand out?
  • Would a paragraph read better as a list?

Applying bold and underline, applying styles, creating tables, inserting images and diagrams…most people know HOW to perform these tasks..but that’s only half the story. Overdo it and you’ll end up with something worse than when you started!

In this event, we’ll explore the do’s and don’ts, the tips and tricks of great document design.

The North West Adobe User Group (NWAG) has been supporting the Adobe Community since 2007. The aim of the Group is to provide learning, networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities for users of Adobe products. To facilitate this we run monthly meetings and social events (both online and “in person”), as well as providing tips and tricks via the website. There is no charge to attend our meetings.

The Group is managed by Elaine Giles (Group Manager) and Mike Thomas (Co-Manager), both long-time users of Adobe products and IT professionals.
