Adobe Lightroom

Overview

Tonight we’ll be taking a look at Adobe Lightroom, Adobe’s new digital workflow application which provides tools to assist with every stage of the photographic process from downloading the image to final delivery.

The presentation will cover all five modules within Lightroom. We’ll be demonstrating:

Library

  • Quickly download images from your camera to your computer
  • Automatically rename files
  • Organize folders
  • Add metadata to photos during the import process
  • Organize photos into collections
  • Browse, evaluate, and compare images
  • Add and amend meta data after import

Develop

  • Correcting white balance, exposure, tone curves, and remove color casts
  • Make batch adjustments to photographs

Slideshow

  • Show your photos effortlessly
  • Customize and personalize the slideshow options

Print

  • Assemble and output high-quality printed contact sheets
  • Create your own print layouts

Web

  • Generate sophisticated online web galleries and slide shows for client presentation

The North West Adobe User Group (NWAG) has been supporting the Adobe Community since 2007. The aim of the Group is to provide learning, networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities for users of Adobe products.
